About Me
My name is Philippine, a Dutch artist and illustrator currently living and working in the beautiful region of Burgundy. For over 10 years, I have been active in the art world, starting small and growing organically through the many commissions and workshops that came my way. As a self-taught artist, I believe that passion and dedication are just as valuable as formal education. In Burgundy, I host successful workshops – from watercolor painting to acrylic on canvas – where participants not only learn but also enjoy regional snacks and drinks during the session.
My Specialties
My work is defined by versatility and creativity: from acrylic paintings on canvas and transparent flowers to detailed watercolors and hand-drawn illustrations, which I also laser onto wood. This approach appeals to a broad audience. My art often carries a cheerful and positive vibe, where the imperfections and subtly naïve character are embraced and warmly appreciated.
Experience & Projects
In the Netherlands, I hosted numerous workshops, held exhibitions, and sold my art throughout the Randstad. Since moving to Burgundy three years ago, I have continued this journey with exhibitions, workshops, and custom illustrations. Here are some highlights from my portfolio:
